A body of a 57-year-old man has been found near a Loch in Kilsyth on Sunday.
Officers have launched a probe into the "unexplained" death after the discovery was made near Banton Loch around 2.35pm.
The man's family has been informed.

A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: "We received a report of a body found near Banton Loch in Kilsyth around 2.35pm on Sunday, 23 August.
"Enquiries have established the body is that of a 57-year-old man and has family has been informed.
"The death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further investigation and the results of a post mortem."
