EMERGENCY services were called to a van on fire on a busy road in Glasgow's Dennistoun.
Police officers and fire crews attended the vehicle between junction 14 and 15 on the M8 motorway.
The incident happened just before 5.30pm today.
Two lanes were shut Westbound while authorities tackled the fire.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has confirmed that there were no injuries reported.
Traffic Scotland has confirmed that the road has now been reopened but motorists should still expect delays.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers were called to reports of smoke coming from a vehicle on the M8 near junction 15 at around 5.30pm on Friday, May 6, 2022.
“There were no injuries reported and the vehicle was uplifted.”
