Elfingrove is back for another year promising to bring more festive fun than ever to the city's West End.
The grounds of the Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum will once again be transformed into the ‘UK’s biggest ice rink’ for a month-long run starting from Thursday, November 24 with a whole host of new attractions to add to the magic.
Organised by deals and events company itison, this year’s festivities will include a Snow Wheel to take in the winter wonderland from high in the air and a Candyland for sweet-toothed skaters.

After working up an appetite on the ice, look out for the ‘après skate’ bar serving street food treats like grilled cheese sandwiches bursting with brie, pulled turkey topped hot dogs and fries heaped generously with pigs in blankets.
Oli Norman, creator of Elfingrove and itison CEO, said: “Last year over 100,000 people came along to Elfingrove, this year we’re going even bigger creating a larger rink and amazing new ways to enjoy Elfingrove with our Snow Wheel and Skate Side Dining.
“And with the cost of living being a very real thing, we wanted to make sure it’s as accessible for as many people as possible with tickets starting as low as £8 to skate.”
Throughout the season, Elfingrove will host a series of special sessions with visits from Santa, the chance to learn from skilled instructors and 'relaxed skates' for visitors with autism or complex needs where sound and light levels will be adjusted for a quitter skate with a reduced capacity.
Itison’s Elf Legacy Fund will also return for 2022 with plans to donate 2000 free tickets to local charities, community groups and causes to help those who might not be able to attend otherwise.
Earlybird tickets for Elfingrove will go on sale from 7.30am on Thursday, September 29.
