Applications have been submitted for two new restaurants in Glasgow city centre.
The vacant unit at 217-221 Argyle Street, near Central Station, could be turned into two eateries.
The plans would utilise the basement, ground- and first floors of the building.
The Venetian-style building was previously occupied by Tower Records, the music company, but was vacated 15 years ago.

According to the plans, both restaurants would open to Argyle Street with one located in the basement and ground floor and the other on the ground and first floors.
It is anticipated that the opening hours will be 10am-12 midnight seven days a week and externally, the only visible change to the building would be the reconfiguration of the ground floor to incorporate separate access to the two ground floor premises.
