Glasgow is being treated to a new luxury bakery from the team behind cult restaurant chain Six by Nico.
Valaria is a 'patisserie, bakery, and viennoiserie' that promises to serve 'opulent' handmade baked goods and gourmet coffee.
The 'new chapter in the Six by Nico book' will be a chance for fans of the brand to experience something fresh.
The Byres Road sweet spot opens to customers from noon on Thursday, February 16.

Nico Simeone, the owner and CEO of SixCo, named the patisserie after his wife, Valentina, and their two young daughters Ilaria and Valentina, who was named after her mum.
The Glasgow-born chef was inspired to open Valaria with the potential to be creative with pastries and cakes.
He said: “We really wanted to bring something different to the company that we’ve not done before, but also keeping with the ethos of our company and doing something we can be creative with."
Nico is planning to bring in the penchant for change that Six by Nico is known for.

He said: "Six by Nico changes the menu every six weeks. We want to introduce the same thing here in the patisserie so we're constantly evolving and creating new pastries.
"It's something that we always thought about and are passionate about and want to explore."
Opening a cake shop has been an exciting new challenge and the SixCo team is looking forward to navigating the new venture.
Nico told the Glasgow Times: "Opening Six by Nico restaurants is in our comfort zone, but this is very new to us.
"I'm sure like everything we will have our teething problems but we stay passionate and we're willing to learn."
Ahead of the official opening, eager passersby have been keen to check out the new shop.
Valaria is sure to be a hit for those with a sweet tooth and the team has transformed the unit into a dreamy cafe that would blend right into Paris's Left Bank.
The teal interior is decorated with a grand botanic ceiling feature of dried flowers and is accented with pink upholstery and modern light fixtures.
Nico said: "I really, really like the shop fit. The designers and the shopfitting company have done really well with it.
"I'm proud of it, I'm happy with the product and I love the environment."
All of the baked goods will be prepared fresh daily at a speciality prep kitchen in Anniesland and delivered to the patisserie each morning.
The eclairs promise to be a hit, with new flavours to be introduced each month - the first three flavours available will be tiramisu, salted caramel, and rhubarb.
Nico said: "We'll see what the feedback is from the customers and find out what they want to see more of."
Customers can also look forward to a special house-blended coffee.
Nico said: "We sourced our beans from two farmers. They're both single vineyard beans and farmed in Brazil and Columbia."
The 40-seater cafe will be a hybrid of sit-in and takeaway with outdoor seating as well.
Nico said: "We want it to be very relaxed, chilled.
"People can come in and enjoy a croissant and a coffee in the morning or take a cake and coffees home."
Once Valaria finds its feet, customers can look forward to online ordering, home delivery, and celebration cakes.
The SixCo team will also be opening a new Six by Nico restaurant across the street from Valaria at the end of February.
