999 crews raced to the scene of a car fire in Govan on Friday night.
Fire crews were called to Helen Street around 5.30pm to extinguish the blaze.
A warning was issued to drivers as the vehicle fire obstructed Junction 24 on the M8.
A spokesperson per Traffic Scotland cautioned drivers that the Eastbound carriageway off-slip was closed as emergency crews dealt with the fire.

A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said: "We attended to a car on fire on Helen Street. One appliance was dispatched and we left at 6.01pm."
Police Scotland has been contacted for comment.
