FIRE crews are currently tackling a lorry fire in Knightswood.
Emergency services responded to the scene on Great Western Road after the alarm was raised shortly before 3pm.
An eyewitness said that the road has reportedly been closed as firefighters work to extinguish the blaze.
Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the area.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We received several calls at around 2.55pm on Friday, May 12 to reports of a lorry on fire on Great Western Road (A82), Glasgow.
"Operations Control mobilised four appliances to the scene. Fire crews remain in attendance."
