COPS are cracking down on "constant issues" of illegal parking outside schools.

It comes after officers say they are continuing to visit a different school within East Dunbartonshire each day to encourage "responsible driving and parking".

They claim there has been an issue with parking on keep-clear areas, zig-zags, or pedestrian crossings which they say is "dangerous" as it causes visibility issues to drivers and pedestrians.

Taking to social media to share the news, the force said: "Officers attend a different school with East Dunbartonshire Council daily to encourage responsible driving and parking.

"Parking on keep-clear, zig-zags or pedestrian crossings is a constant issue & is dangerous as it causes visibility issues to drivers & pedestrians."
