A man was hospitalised after police were called to a "fight" in Hamilton.
Officers were called to Millgate Road around 12.25pm today, following reports of a disturbance.
On social media, locals said there was a "fight a a pub" which led to a window breaking, however, Police Scotland was unable to confirm this.
Another eyewitness described seeing "police and ambulance all over the place".
Two men, including the one that was taken to hospital, were arrested. They are aged 26 and 44.
The investigation continues.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.25pm on Friday, November 3, 2023, we were called to a report of a disturbance on Millgate Road, Hamilton.
“Emergency services attended and two men, aged 26 and 44, were arrested in connection. The 26-year-old man was subsequently taken to University Hospital Wishaw for treatment.
“Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
