A thug attacked a vulnerable man after 'following' him into a takeaway.
The victim is said to have left a casino on Moss Street in Paisley on Monday evening when he was 'picked on'.
He is then said to have been attacked at a takeaway on nearby High Street and ended up in hospital.
Cops confirmed that the incident had been reported to them and they are investigating.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 9.40pm on Monday, January 29, 2024, officers received a report of an assault on High Street, Paisley.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
