DRIVERS face disruption as major works are set to begin on a busy Glasgow road.

Glasgow City Council has said traffic signal works are set to be carried out at the junctions of Paisley Road and Seaward Street and at the junction of Paisley Road West, Paisley Road, and Govan Road.

Due to this, lane closures will be in place from 8am on Monday, February 5, in the areas.

Meanwhile, temporary traffic signals will also be in place from 8am on Monday, February 12 until 5pm on Friday, March 29.

Drivers are being told to expect delays during the works, while they are also being advised to take care.
