Urgent warning as busy Glasgow roads to close this weekend (Image: Stock)
An urgent warning has been issued as multiple busy roads in Glasgow are set to be closed this weekend.
Glasgow City Council has revealed several roads in the city will be shut on Sunday, February 25.
The roads that will be closed are:
- St Vincent Place - between Queen Street and Buchanan Street
- Queen Street - between Ingram Street and Glassford Street
- George Street - between South Frederick Street and Ingram Street
- South Frederick Street - (northbound only) between Ingram Street and George Square
- Ingram Street - (westbound only) between Glassford Street and Queen Street.
The roads will be closed between 8am and 5pm to allow the replacement of street furniture in the areas.
During the closures, drivers are being urged to 'avoid the area'.
