Two men have been arrested after allegedly being caught with a weapon in Cambuslang.
Police say in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, April 18) officers from East Kilbride arrested two men - aged 22 and 29 - following "numerous thefts from cars" and "possession of drugs".
Cops say they were also arrested for an alleged assault and being in possession of a weapon.
Following it, the force has said they will 'never stop patrolling' to keep the area safe.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "In the early hours of this morning officers from East Kilbride arrested two males, 29 and 22 years old, in Cambuslang for numerous thefts from cars, possession of drugs, assault and possession of a weapon.
"We never stop patrolling, help us keep you and your property safe."
