A vehicle fire has caused disruption on a busy motorway this morning.
Around 11.33am, Traffic Scotland took to X to announce that emergency services were on the M8, due to a vehicle on fire at junction 18, Charing Cross and Kelvingrove.
Westbound at the junction is currently restricted and traffic is slowing on approach.

It is unknown what caused the blaze.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: "We were alerted at 11.18am on Wednesday, May 29, of a vehicle fire on the M8 westbound near junction 18.
"Operations Control mobilised two appliances to the scene where crews extinguished the fire.
"There were no casualties and crews left the scene after ensuring the area was safe."
