Usually this fixture requires no added spice.

However, in what will not only be the first Premiership match in four-weeks after the World Cup break, Michael Beale will make his managerial debut as Rangers gaffer.

The 42-year-old will take to the Ibrox dugout tonight as his side welcome Hibs.

It will be his first game in charge of the club since he replaced Giovanni van Bronckhorst at the helm of the club in late November.

Here are all of the details you need to know ahead of this huge encounter.

Team news for Rangers vs Hibs

The hosts are expecting Connor Goldson and Ben Davies to return to training this week, however, this game will come too soon for them.

Beale will also be without Tom Lawrence, Ianis Hagi, John Souttar, Filip Helander and Ridvan Yilmaz due to injury.

Borna Barisic will miss out too, with the left-back still on World Cup duty with Croatia.

Martin Boylde is definitely out for Hibs, having been ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

Aiden McGeady and Kevin Nisbet could feature after gaining minutes in recent friendlies.
