THE Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF) is set to celebrate the first-ever National Square Sauage Day a day early.
Scott Agnew's Square Sausage Show has teamed up with Ayrshire butchers We Hae Meat - the creators of the national day - to deliver the very best Lorne to comedy audiences this weekend.
The renowned comedian will welcome a panel of comedians to Drygate tomorrow to celebrate the life and lore of the sausage, sharing stories, songs and poetry honouring Scotland's most-loved food.
The event will be topped off with a traditional roll and square from We Hae Meat.
With National Square Sausage Day set to be officially celebrated on Monday, March 25, the show will get the party started with a Burns Night-style extravaganza during the festival's second weekend.
Scott Agnew's Square Sausage Show will take place at Drygate on Sunday, March 24 at 1pm.
