Elaine C Smith has shared an update with fans as filming for Two Doors Down draws to an end.
The comedian, who has played Christine in the sitcom since it first hit our screens in 2016, posted a video to her Instagram followers of her on her way to shoot on location in Hamilton.
She said: "Well hello there, Christine O'Neil here, travelling along the round out to 'location', which always sounds as if you're heading to Barbados, but we're actually heading to Hamilton.
"As you can see I've got the wig on, a lovely top for one of the episodes which I can't tell you about."
Fans of the series won't have long to wait as Elaine revealed that they are days away from wrapping production.
She continued: "We're sort of nine days to go or something like that in the shoot, we're knackered. It's been a hard shoot, but good, lots of laughs along the way, a few tears too.
"Just giving you an update on that, and sending lots of love."
The seventh series of Two Doors Down is set to air later this year.
