The writer of Two Doors Down has teased an eighth series could be on the cards.
Filming of the seventh series of the popular sitcom is currently underway, with one of its stars Elaine C Smith telling fans last week that the cast and crew had just days left on location.
And as production wraps on the highly-anticipated series, writer Simon Carlyle has excited fans with a cryptic post.
He shared a photo of him and fellow writer Ben Gosling Fuller having drinks with Arabella Weir and Joy McAvoy, who play Beth and Michelle respectively.
They were also joined by Doon Mackichan, who is returning to her role as Cathy after previously leaving the show.
The caption read: "Cathy and Michelle's last night... for now."

The message led some fans to believe that series eight is a possibility, with one writing: "Series 8 confirmed."
Another wrote: "THE best of the best... Absolutely an iconic comedy series up there with Fawlty Towers... Can't wait for the next series to air (and the one after and after etc!)"
