Eight eateries in Glasgow have been shortlisted for Deliveroo's 2024 Restaurant Awards.
The award ceremony, which first began back in 2019, looks to celebrate the best and most- loved restaurants across the UK.
From best Chinese to best Mexican, and even the coveted independent restaurant of the year award - Glasgow's local food scene is looking strong in this years categories.
Chef Jimmy Lee's Salt and Chilli is up for best Chinese, while Ting Thai looks to grab top spot in the best Thai category.
ORO in Pollokshaws is up for best Pizza in Scotland, Topolabamba is up for best Mexican and Chaakoo in town is shortlisted in the best Indian and Nepalese category.
Two places in the city will even be going head-to-head in the best chicken category. The businesses fighting it out are Porto Piri Piri in Shawlands and Bucks Bar in town.
And Flavas Ice Cream in the West End is up for best dessert.
Ting Thai and Salt and Chilli are also both up for the independent restaurant of the year - which includes 25 restaurants across the UK.
Will Shu, CEO and founder at Deliveroo said: “This year’s awards are bigger and better than ever and we are delighted to have Rylan joining our judging panel.

The awards will be hosted by Rylan Clark (The X Factor, This Morning), who said: "As a takeaway connoisseur and one of Deliveroo’s most loyal customers, I’m so excited to be involved in the 2024 Restaurant Awards.
"It's no secret I love a cheeky takeaway, so I can’t wait to join the judging panel and help choose the deserving winner of the Beating Heart of the Community category."
Voting is now open and will close on January 21 at 11.59pm. Customers will automatically be entered into a prize draw to win £500 of app credit.
