A Coronation Street star has shared his heartbreak after the death of his pal last seen in Glasgow.
Actor Tony Maudsley, shared an urgent appeal on social media yesterday (Tuesday, January 9), to help find his much-loved friend Michael McGarrigle.
In the post, the TV star said Michael was a "valued member" of the Benidorm family, having worked on the show as a costume supervisor.
According to Tony, his pal was last seen in the city in the early hours of Sunday morning.
However, following the appeal, the actor has since tragically announced his valued friend has died.

In a touching tribute, Tony said: "Thank you so much to everyone for all your efforts in reposting our appeal to find Michael yesterday.
"I'm so sad to say that we found out late last night that we've lost our beautiful friend.
"Our wholesome Benidorm family is devastated and we'll miss him hugely. RIP Michael."
Following Tony sharing the news, heartbreaking tributes have poured in for the caring man on social media.
One said: "So sorry for your loss. Thoughts with his family and friends."
Another said: "Sad news."
A third added: "So sorry Tony.
"Sending you, his family and friends lots of love."
Meanwhile, another said: "May his soul now be at peace. God bless him."
Police Scotland did not confirm they were aware of Michael's death but said they were called to a concern for a person and said they were investigating this report.
A spokesperson said: "Around 1.30pm on Monday, January, 8, officers received a report of a concern for person near the River Clyde, Glasgow.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
