He has been back on our screens for another chance at love in a brand-new shake-up to a hit reality series.
Airdrie’s own Anton Danyluk is currently featured on Love Island All-Stars, having first appeared on the ITV dating show back in 2019.
During his first stint, Anton had a rollercoaster ride and struggled to strike up a romance at first before finding a connection with make-up artist Belle Hassan.
The 29-year-old spoke of jumping at the chance to stay at the villa a second time, calling it a ‘no-brainer’.
"I got the call and it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and probably the best summer I have ever had in my life,” he said.
“Getting the chance to do it twice is going to be unbelievable.”
But long before he gained popularity as a love-seeker, the gym owner became a familiar face in Glasgow when he starred in our own reality series.
Aimed to rival the likes of TOWIE and Made in Chelsea, Glow was launched in 2016 via a dedicated website by production firm GRTV, who wanted to use the programme to ‘shine a positive light on Glasgow’.
Some of the stars handpicked to represent the city included Rangers WAG Lauren McDonald, Merchant City nightclub owner Brian Matthews – and Anton.
Like his time in the villa, much of Anton’s ‘storyline’ on Glow focused on his love life as she appeared with ex-girlfriend Denise Wilkie, who apparently quit the series after arguing with the fitness guru on-screen.
Despite aiming to represent the glamour of Glasgow, an enthusiastic cast, and hopes of a second series, Glow was sadly cancelled due to low ratings.
While his co-stars are no longer appearing on our screens, Anton is still battling through the ups and downs of the Love Island villa hoping for a chance at romance.
