Scottish stage and screen legend Elaine C Smith is set to host A Play, A Pie and A Pint's 20th-anniversary fundraising gala this autumn.
The special event is scheduled for Sunday, October 13 at Òran Mór in the West End.
The evening will include reflection, laughter, food, and entertainment such as music, excerpts from past shows, an auction, and an afterparty with a DJ.
Elaine, who stars in the hit BBC comedy Two Doors Down, said: "I am delighted to be involved in hosting this great event to celebrate the extraordinary A Play, A Pie and A Pint at Òran Mór.
"20 years is a fantastic achievement from what started as a simple idea and a testament to the faith and support of Colin Beattie.
"The initial risk paid off massively with loyal audiences taking it to their hearts and seeing hundreds of new plays over the years.
"A time to celebrate indeed."
Artistic director Brian Logan added: "After 600 plus plays, countless careers launched, and more pastry than any dietician would recommend, the moment has arrived: A Play, a Pie and a Pint is celebrating an incredible 20 years of lunchtime theatre in the West End of Glasgow.
"I couldn’t be more excited to mark this occasion with our audiences and friends this October: we can promise great PPP performances, fantastic prizes to be won and the extraordinary Elaine C. Smith as host.
"Please join us to commemorate the vision and extraordinary achievement of David MacLennan, and to herald – and raise essential funds for – more of intensive and adventurous theatre-making at Òran Mór."
Tickets are now available for purchase online.
