An 'emotional' Lorraine Kelly stopped her ITV show to pay a special tribute to Janey Godley.
Glasgow comic Janey recently told fans and followers that she was in a hospice receiving end-of-life care amid her ongoing battle with ovarian cancer.
The news resulted in an outpouring of touching well-wishes from celebrities including fellow Glaswegian Lorraine, who gave her a special mention during her programme.

The Mirror reports that Lorraine, unable to hide her emotions, paused the programme to pay her own tribute.
She said: "Well she really is an inspiration, that's comedian Janey Godley of course. She posted that video last night sharing the news that she is receiving end of life care after her cancer spread.
"We are sending her all of our love, she's been absolutely remarkable, she's been so brave all the way through this, still going on tour, still doing all of these amazing things.
"And we're just sending her all our love and I know she wanted to thank all the people that are looking after her."

It comes after we reported how the funnywoman cancelled her autumn tour amid ongoing treatment for ovarian cancer.
Janey was due to embark on the Why Is She Still Here? tour before her doctors advised her that she should stop working “for the foreseeable future”.
She was set to perform at Glasgow's SEC Armadillo on November 17.
Janey, who found viral fame with her parodies of Nicola Sturgeon’s coronavirus news briefings, revealed she had ovarian cancer in November 2021.
In 2022, the comedian was given the all-clear and said in a post to X that a scan showed “no evidence of disease”.
However, she later announced that another scan had shown signs of the disease in her abdomen but added that she would continue with her tour in February and March 2023.
