The story follows John (Lincoln), a repressed man who is shocked to find himself in middle age, secretly raging at his life as a stay-at-home dad.

When John ups and moves his family to the rural idyll of Coldwater, he is quickly befriended by next-door neighbour Tommy (Trainspotting star Ewen Bremner), a charming, confident man, and devoted husband.

However, underneath his collected exterior, Tommy harbours some horrific secrets of his own.

Filming took place in Dennistoun in July.
