A popular reality TV star has said one of the best audiences she has ever had was in Glasgow.
Lucinda Light, who rose to fame after appearing on season 11 of Married at First Sight Australia, told the Glasgow Times that the city crowd were next level when she was here on tour in August.
“Glasgow was my favourite audience of the shows, it was just next level,” the star said.
She continued: “The Glasgow crowd were insane; they were so much fun.
“It was the first big crowd I have ever walked into. I had only ever performed in front of a couple hundred people before and I walked into 1200 people in Glasgow, on their feet and roaring before I had even started.
“It was the warmest welcome and I will never forget it.”
Speaking to us from Cyprus while she films a new show for Channel 4, Lucinda went on to share a hilarious moment she experienced in the city.
She said: “I did a question-and-answer session at the end, and they were just hilarious.
“One guy just started singing The Proclaimers’ 500 Miles and then everybody was singing together. It just felt like this big celebration, and I felt so supported.
“The warmth, humour and love were just so alive. Glasgow feels like the heart and soul of Scotland.”
But this is not the first time Lucinda has spoken so highly of her previous Glasgow show.
Following the performance at the O2 Academy, Lucinda wrote on Instagram that she felt she had been born here in another life.
She said: "What a joy to be heading to the land of the unicorn…In another life, I was definitely a Glasgow-born!"

And lucky for her – as well as her Glasgow fans – she will return to the city next month to perform at the King’s Theatre in the city centre.
Giving fans a toolkit of grounding exercises, before speaking about her experiences on Married at First Sight Australia, Lucinda talks to audiences about what she learnt from her time on the show as well as doing a Q&A with the crowd.
“It’s quite an immersive show,” Lucinda said.
She added: “There is a combination of comedy and cabaret as well. It’s a show that has got a bit of everything.”
The Glasgow show will take place on November 1 – and Lucinda cannot wait.
“I’m really excited to come back in November. I can’t wait for the warm and hilarious crowd.
“Glasgow is always so up for it, and I want to get in amongst it.”
Lucinda captured the nation's heart when she was paired with Timothy Smith on the beloved dating show, which aired earlier this year.
Viewers quickly fell in love with Lucinda and Tim's blossoming romance over the weeks - which sadly ended in them splitting and leaving the experiment following a tough homestay week.
But despite the ending not going how she or Tim hoped, Lucinda opened up about the positive mark the show has left on her life and future career.
