An American TV star chose this iconic Glasgow restaurant to film his new series - and staff say he's 'hooked'.
Adam Richman, known for his impressive eats on Man vs Food, is currently in Scotland scouting locations for the upcoming latest series of Adam Richman Eats Britain.
During his travels to sample the best we have to offer, the New York-born star visited the Ubiquitous Chip on Ashton Lane, where the team of chefs lured him hook, line and sinker with their seafood dishes.

They said: "Doug and Jakub showed Adam Richman around the kitchen today. Talking and tasting all things Scottish produce including our famous Barra scallops from John Vallance.
"Safe to say Adam's officially hooked on Scotland’s finest."
First opening in 1971, the Ubiquitous Chip - also known as 'The Chip' - is known for its enticing labyrinth of avenues to explore with multiple bars and restaurant areas in one venue, from a whisky bar to a fine dining room and a homely pub to a casual dining brasserie.

It has many celebrity fans including Kelly MacDonald, Sir Billy Connolly, Keira Knightley, Michael Keaton and Mick Jagger, and takes pride in using Scottish produce.
Adam previously gushed about Scotland's exquisite seafood during an interview for Celtic TV and also displayed his impressive knowledge about the Hoops.
He has also been spotted in Wetherspoons and he revealed to his followers that he was in the Sir John Moore on Argyle Street so they could send weird food and drink combinations directly to his table using the famous pub app.
