STIRLING Spirit Company is set to host Scotland’s first-ever Gin, Rum and Cocktail Festival.
The event, to be held at Gean House in Alloa, will take place on Saturday, June 16.
Stirling Spirit Company (SCC) is behind the hugely successful Stirling Whisky Festival and Stirling Gin Festival.
Now co-owner June McCann believes that the ground-breaking new drinks event can prove one of the summer scene's biggest hits, set in the lush rolling grounds of the iconic Edwardian arts and crafts mansion.
June, who along with husband Cameron is also co-owner of award-winning Stirling Gin, said: "The Stirling Spirit Company is very excited about hosting our first summer festival and even more so since it is a gin, rum and cocktail festival.
"I really think that the combination of these drinks under the umbrella of one festival has a real summer feel to it. With this festival new to the Stirling Spirit Company portfolio it just makes it all very fresh and vibrant.
"I also think that the combination of the three drinks just really works, because as we know many gin and rum drinkers have eclectic tastes when it comes to their refreshments. That's why we believe the Gin, Rum and Cocktail Festival can go on to be one of the summer's outstanding drinks events.”
There will be over 60 mouth-watering spirits to sample, while patrons will also be able to take part in cocktail masterclasses. A barbecue will be provided and overnight accommodation is available to book.
Tickets to the festival are £25. For more information, go to stirlingspiritcompany.scot
