A GLASGOW dining institution is celebrating an impressive 12 years on the city’s food and drink scene.
Grill on the Corner, on Bothwell Street, has unveiled a refurbishment and the launch of a new menu.
The menu has incorporated steak and seafood leads with the introduction of PGI-certified Scotch beef.
There is also the addition of a “Himalayan salt fridge” where steak is stored for 24 hours before serving to make the meat tender.

Emphasis has also been placed on quality Scottish seafood, said bosses, featuring the renowned Loch Duart seared salmon and grilled sea bass.
The menu has retained its lobster options – a known bestseller - along with more adventurous options chargrilled swordfish and stone bass.
The makeover has taken a new and modern approach, added bosses.
Blackhouse managing director, Scott Grimbleby, said: “We have given the restaurant a small tickle in line with our new menus.

“The new food menu is the biggest change we have seen for a number of years.
“It’s part of a bigger plan to refresh the brand while maintaining the restaurant’s position as the ‘old favourite’ of Glasgow.
“The Grill on the Corner has been a bastion of the Glasgow dining scene for the past 12 years and I’m proud to say we will remain as such for many more to come.”
The refurbishments took place last week and the restaurant is now open.
