AT £15 a bottle, this is clearly marketing itself as an upmarket bath soak more in the realms of a gift or a treat than something for everyday use.

The online description promises a "reviving spa experience at home" that will leave you feeling "radiant and refreshed".

It comes in an elegant vintage glass bottle, although at first glance the contents seem less appealing than the price might suggest - green gunge comes to mind.

But if you can overlook that, the liquid inside is silky and unleashes a profusion of soft, moisturising bubbles that - as promised - leave your skin feeling soft and moisturised.

The scent is not overpowering either. It is more of a fresh breeze than the salty seaweed smell that 'kelp' might conjure up.

However, if you prefer more powerful floral or fruit perfumes, then this might be a bit too much on the delicate side.

As for whether it can really claim to be any more relaxing, or 'spa-like', than your average high street bath foam, that is open to debate. I certainly felt blissfully relaxed, but after a long afternoon of housework I think a bottle of Radox might have had the same effect.
