It is not always easy to find a decent every day lip colour, but it feels good and is so satisfying when you do.
Bobbi Brown's limited edition Crushed Liquid Lip in Ginger Snap is one of these everyday heroes: I should know, because since I've got it I've worn it every day. Matched with the Bobbi Brown lip liner in a similar shade, I've found it to be a great and staple addition to my every day lipstick routine.
Ginger Snap is a slightly darker peach/pink shade with warm undertones and a glossy finish.
Unlike other liquid lipsticks, it doesn't dry into a matte colour but remains hydrating on the lips. Messier this can be, I find when it comes to 3pm it's nicer to have something hydrating compared to the cloying dryness that day-long matte leaves.

There is a range of colours but I do think this is perfect for low-key use.
With only one layer, which distributed fairly evenly across my lips, there is substantial pigment but sometimes can leave a it of visible streaking along the edges - this is where the liner comes in.
Application is made easier by the wand which has a flat end, rather than a round one. While this doesn't make for getting rid of lines that can appear on the outer edges of one's lips with first application, it does make it easier to blend the colour in.
I find this is a nice easy lip colour that gives a bit of shine to the usual nude. I can apply it walking back to the office from a lunch break coffee-in-hand - I can't ask for more than that.
