The Estee Lauder website ends their description of their Pure Colour Envy Lipstick: 'with one click, case closed', poising it to be the perfect lipstick for any lawyers out there.
But ah, yes, a return to Estee Lauder: a brand that, for me, epitomises glamour and class.
The Pure Colour Envy Lipstick in Immortal is indeed that - a colour, brand and style so ubiquitously popular that it has rendered itself immortal.
As you can see from my video, the pointed tip of the lipstick allowed me to draw the outline of my lips first - a useful hack if, in the morning rush, you cannot find (or open) your red lip liner.
The red was a bright and shocking splash of colour, with a pigment so strong that it only needed one swipe to achieve the opulent red that this type of lipstick boasts. You could easily built on this.
The Envy Lipstick has inbuilt 'time-release moisture complex', which I take to mean is not matte, a discovery I was grateful for.
By the end of the day, and despite my subconscious efforts to rid my lips of the colour, Estee Lauder's red endured. This is why it is still a timeless classic.
