Shops are closing. Newspaper sales are falling. But we’ve chosen to keep our coverage of the Coronavirus crisis free because it’s so important that the people of Glasgow stay informed during this difficult time.
To help us get through this, we’re asking readers who can afford it to contribute either £3, £5 or £8 a month to the Glasgow Times.
If you choose to sign up, we’ll also take away all the adverts – and deliver a digital version of the print paper to your device. Click here to help Save Your Times: www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/subscribe

BEING stuck indoors and with limited time outdoors means complexions are probably looking a little lacklustre.
Clinique Smart Critical moisturiser is designed to be anti-ageing but delivers a nice dewy boost to the skin even if you aren’t trying to turn back the clock.
Without getting too sciencey, the gel-cream contains neuropeptides, which are said to play a key role in skin renewal, hopefully creating firmer and more youthful looking.skin.
It also contains Soybean Seed Extract and Sweet Almond Seed Extract which are said to boost radiance and have a blurring effect on lines and all the other unwelcome signs of ageing.
The cream does have a peculiar smell, almost like fake tan but is very rich and sinks into the skin beautifully.
It really is worth paying a bit more for a moisturiser, a good one like this might just be enough to persuade you not to go down the botox and fillers route and the brand has launched a new one with an SPF of 15, which ideally should be a little higher.
Clinique Smart Critical cream is priced £60 for 50ml and is available from www.clinique.com
