Lorraine Kelly has announced an exciting career move.
The Glasgow-born presenter revealed that she has written her debut novel, The Island Swimmer.
It will be published by Orion Books in February and is already available to pre-order from Waterstones.
Announcing the news on Twitter, she said: "I am delighted to share with you the news of my debut novel, it's called The Island Swimmer and it's out next spring.
"I've had such a brilliant time doing this, it's something I've always wanted to do. I've always wanted to write fiction and I felt that this was the right time."
Thank you @orionbooks - and to everyone for the lovely reaction and positive feedback. Much appreciated https://t.co/Kju1SV0F5d
