A prime Irish hotel chain is set to open a venue in Glasgow city centre.
The Address Collective, which runs several hotels in Dublin and Cork, has made the next step to take over as B-listed building.
The former Pocotel, on the corner site at the junction of Renfield Street and West George Street, was sold last year.
In March, a planning application was accepted by the council to refurbish 39 to 43 Renfield Street, where pizza restaurant Mozza and Tony Macaroni are currently located.

Now, a second set of documents were lodged to put up new signage on the property.
Applicant BCS McGelligan UK Ltd applied to put up several signs saying 'The Address', all over the building.
The use of the site will remain as a hotel and restaurant, however, plans indicate the 'Mozza' sign will be removed.
It is understood that Mozza is operating from the unit and they were approached for comment.
The planning application is currently pending with Glasgow City Council.
A decision is expected to be made by Tuesday, July 11.
