Sir Chris Hoy was spotted at a Glasgow restaurant ahead of the UCI Cycling World Championship.
The former champion cyclist dined at India Quay Restaurant in Finnieston on Wednesday evening before the ten-day event kicks off on Thursday, August 3.
Hoy, 47, happily posed for a photo with staff, who said they were "honoured" to have him dine with them.
The appearance comes after we reported that Hoy appeared at a sports club in Bishopbriggs to launch a new partnership between SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) and sportscotland.
The initiative aims to help people feel the benefits of exercise to their mental, social and physical health.
The Olympic and world champion, who retired in 2013, is in the city for the ten-day UCI event, which is the biggest cycling event in the world.
Around 8000 elite and amateur cyclists from more than 120 countries will come together to compete in numerous tournaments.
