This week it's all about steak.
Bo'Vine, 385 Byres Road, Glasgow West End G12 8AU
Michelle M sampled the "chateaubriand with triple cooked chips and fiery peppercorn sauce on the side. The meat was so tender while cutting it, just the right amount of pink & tasted great. I couldn't fault the meat one bit. It was a great cut, full of flavour, seasoned to perfection & melted in my mouth.
Bruti Ma Buoni, 106 Brunswick Street, Merchant City G1 1TF
Rib eye steak with chips and salad falls under the big plates category, and there's a lot of small sharing plates to tempt as well - seared artichokes, halloumi with chilli or deep fried whitebait!
The Butchershop Bar & Grill, 1055 Sauchiehall Street, Glasgow West End G3 7UD
"The Butchershop has a policy of using only Scottish grass fed cattle which is then hung on the bone and dry aged for at least 28 days." Pammi G "opted for the House Signature cut half Kilo hung & Dry aged for 35 days t-bone steak which was succulent, tender and ridiculously juicy."
Café Source, 1 St Andrews Square, Glasgow G1 5PP
Leigh H loves this "very pleasant location, tucked between Glasgow Green and the Cross in the basement of the stunning St Andrews in the Square." Why not sample the 28 day dry aged rib eye steak with peppercorn sauce, fries, onion rings and grilled tomato for £19.95.
Central Market, 51 Bell Street, Merchant City G1 1NX
Steak lovers rejoice - there's steak tartare and hanger steak available here. Both are served with cornichons, capers, shallots, croutons and fries!
The Grill on the Corner, 21-15 Bothwell Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 6NL
Jen B says "the steak is life changing" and recommends ordering a steak and cocktail - "they're a winning combination!" The steak is aged for 28 days to ensure tenderness and flavour.
The Grill Room, 29 Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow City Centre G1 3AJ
There's a huge menu of steaks to select from, ranging from New York Style Strip Sirloin Steak, to Chateaubriand for two, as well as Kobe fillet steak. Alison M says the steak is "absolutely perfect!"
Meat Bar, 142 West Regent Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 2RQ
Gordon M opted for the steak sandwich at this meat lover's paradise. "A delicious cut of meat, cooked medium rare and well rested, on a ciabatta with a subtle horseradish mayo arrived and the first bite confirmed it tasted as good as it looked."
Tropeiro, 363 Argyle Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 8LT
Martyn M explains this "is a Brazilian Churrascaria, where all the meat is served to you rodizio style - you pay a set price and a selection of meats are all brought to your table on giant skewers. I absolutely loved the rump cap, or picanha as it's known. So rare and juicy and tender."
Viva Brazil, 87 Bothwell Street, Glasgow City Centre G2 7AA
The full rodizio has "15 options available varying from rump steak, to beef ribs, pork ribs, chilli chicken, chicken legs, pork collar etc." Austen M also loves the beer options - "Xingu which is a darker beer and very nice!"
