A popular Chinese restaurant in Glasgow has announced it will reopen for takeaway service.
Lotus has been hit by periods of closure and has had to restrict dine-in and takeaway services due to multiple issues including low staffing levels and staff health problems.
However, the team from the Bridge Street eatery took to social media to reveal that they will resume their takeaway service on July 22.
A statement read: "Mark your calendars! We are excited to announce that Lotus Vegan Cuisine will be reopening takeaway in coming Saturday, July 22!
"Everyone at Lotus is looking forward to seeing you all again and serving you all your favourite vegan dishes!
"Thank you for your ongoing patience and support. We can't wait to see you on Saturday!
"Eric and the Lotus family wish all the best to yours."
It is understood that Lotus will operate as a takeaway only until they have more staff.
Loyal customers were delighted at the news of Lotus' return, with one saying: "This is the best news ever. See you Saturday."
Another wrote: "I've missed it so much!"
A third added: "This is great news! I've missed your amazing food."
