Gay Pride celebrations broke records in Glasgow this weekend as almost 50,000 people attended.
Organisers expected a turn out of around 25,000 people and were shocked to double the number as thousands descended on the city.
The popular event brings people from across the country to support the LGBT+ community and their rights.
Our photographer Gordon Terris joined in the festivities this year and grabbed amazing pictures of the party.
They showed thousands of people joining in the celebrations armed with rainbow colours and huge smiles on their faces.
Attendees waved huge banners and signs as part of the event in support of the cause.
It comes as organisers tweeted: “Glasgow has hosted its largest-ever Pride event with early figures suggesting close to 50,000 people attending.
“Organisers expected around 25,000 people with last year’s event hosting 21,000.”
The city has hosted a Pride event since 2004 with the current march becoming the largest such event in Scotland.
Members of the LGBT community have historically used pride to increase visibility while demanding more rights.
The official theme for 2023 was "Women of the LGBTQ+ Community and Movement."
The pride celebrations took place across the weekend in the city centre with parades, parties, and alternative events.
