O’NEILL — JOHN. John’s wife Annie, Kathleen and John and family would like to thank so many people for their kindness, comfort and support during John’s long illness and recent death, the Royal Infirmary Ward 63, Boots Chemist, Duke Street, Dr Hardman, Dr Black, all other doctors, nurses and receptionists at the surgery in Whitevale Street. A huge thank you to Cordia carers, especially Margaret, Hilda, Jean and Gillian who did more than their duty, to the Co-op Funeralcare for their care and help after the circumstances that occurred, especially Joe and Gerry, the Black Bear at Calder Park for the attention and service and the lovely meal. A very special thank you to Fr Wojciech at St Anne’s and Fr Liam from St Michael’s for the wonderful service they gave on both days. A huge thank you to John’s sister Cathy and nieces from America and Canada for all their support. All friends and family who were a great support and comfort to us. Last but not least the Finlay Unit, Greenfield Park Care Home where John spent his last six weeks, they were all angels, the support, comfort, attention and kindness they gave to all of us, Dr Burns for her weekly visits, Dr Lynas for his daily visits to John and support to us, the Finlay Unit gave John first class attention, to myself and family they were so attentive, we were treated like part of their big family unit. Mass will be offered up for all.
