GALLETLY — ANNA. The Galletly family would like to offer their sincere gratitude to all relatives, friends and neighbours for their cards, Mass cards, support and expressions of sympathy, following the sad loss of Anna. Thank you to Clydebank Health Centre for all their help over many years. We offer our sincere thanks to Drs Fitzsimmons and Travers from The Beatson for their dedicated care over the last five years and to Mr Smith’s surgical team and the nursing and auxiliary staff of Ward 9D QEUH, Glasgow, who enabled Anna to die peacefully and with dignity. Grateful thanks to Rt Rev. Monsignor J. Ryan for conducting the funeral service, offering comforting words and sharing personal memories of Anna’s childhood. The family would also like to thank the V. Rev. Tartaglia of St Margaret’s Church for his assistance, the Rev. Nnolim for leading the reception and vigil and the Deacon Flynn for his invaluable support. Thank you, Ruby, for the beautiful flower arrangements. We would also like to thank Alex Blair of Clydebank Co-operative Funeral Directors for his assistance with the funeral arrangements and the Pond Hotel for the reception. Finally, we extend our sincere thanks to all those who attended the funeral and made generous donations at the church. These will be added to the tribute fund set up in Anna’s name at the Beatson Cancer Charity.
