STANTON - Edward Passed away suddenly on 18th July 2021 aged 82 years. Much loved, respected friend and inspiration to many. A devoted fan, Edward went from Celtic Park to meet his maker. For him, a perfect way to go. Funeral Mass at St Patrick's Church, Anderston, at 1.30pm on Friday 30th July. At Edward's request, the cortege will travel to Celtic Park before the committal at 3pm at Linn Crematorium. Attendance is limited at both the church (70) and crematorium (50).

Sincere condolences to family and friends. I worked with Eddie during the nineties and beyond and it was a privilege and a pleasure do do so. He was a fantastic person, had a great sense of humour, loved Celtic and loved a pint (or two). His capacity to enjoy life despite his disability was an inspiration to all who knew him. Rest in peace Eddie, you bloody well deserve it ❤️
