LENNOX - John McAuslin Peacefully after a short illness, at The Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, on Monday 9th August 2021, John, aged 83 years. Beloved husband of Anne, much loved dad of Linda, and also loving granda to Mandy, Lindsay, Yvonne and Samantha, also a much loved great-granda to Alex, Lucy, Arran, Kayla and Andrew John. Funeral service on Thursday 2nd September 2021 at Hillington Park Parish Church, Berryknowes Road at 2.30pm, thereafter to Daldowie Crematorium arriving at 3.45pm.

I love and miss you each and every day, there is not a time where I do not think of you ❤️ Especially today on my birthday as you were always the person who sang happy birthday to me, today could not have been harder without you here to celebrate it with me, You were gone far too soon but when I think of you I will remember the memories we shared together whether it was helping me with homework, or when we used to go on walks where you could name any car you seen ❤️ You may be gone but I will never forget you and I could not be prouder to call you my Granda. I hope you are now with your mum, dad sisters, laddie and shadow and having a wee cheeky whisky. I will love you forever, fly high my angel ❤️ xxx

Love and miss you everyday Granda! I was not ready for you to leave and I never would have been. Not a minute goes past where I don't think about you and all those precious memories we shared together! You were my one and only father figure in my life and I could not have wished for anyone better. You really were the best. Life will never be the same without you but you will never be forgotten and will be with me everywhere I go. Although I can no longer see you, touch you or hold your hand, I know that you are with me and will be in my heart forever! I am so proud to have you as my granda and will make sure everyone remembers you for the kind, funny, loving, generous and gentle man that you were. Keep a space up there for me, I hope your with great-granny and great-granda & dancing up there as that was your favourite thing to do! You are and always will be my hero forever! Fly high my darling angel, rest easy. Your always in my heart, I love you granda! xxxxx
