McPHAIL - Alister Aged 89 years, within St Andrew's Hospice, Airdrie on Monday 15th August 2022. Beloved husband of the late Joan and a much loved father to Alison and Angus and father-in-law to Elaine. Much loved also by his grandchildren Craig, Laura, Jonathan, Nicola and Rebecca and his great-grandchildren Marlowe, Ella, Noah, Freya and Ronnie. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday 25th August 2022 at 3pm at Netherton Methodist Church, 65 Netherton Road, Wishaw, ML2 0DD followed by a Committal Service at 4pm at South Lanarkshire Crematorium, Sydes Brae, Blantyre, G72 0TL. There will be family flowers only please however donations, if desired, should be sent to St Andrew's Hospice, Henderson Street, Airdrie, ML6 6DJ. The Family would like to thank South Lanarkshire NHS District Nurses - Team 1, the Palliative Care Team and all the staff on St Joseph's Ward at St Andrew's Hospice Airdrie for the care that they provided to Dad throughout his illness.
