KELLY - John Joseph (Chasa) Our loving and much loved brother, brother-in-law and uncle passed away at home on 31st August 2024, suddenly but peacefully after a short illness, bravely fought, and surrounded by his loving family. Brother to May, Sadie, Cathy, Elizabeth, Anne, Margaret, Angela and the late Gerald, Terry, Robert, Joseph and Brian. Also much loved uncle to all nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass at St Mungo's R.C. Church, Parson Street, Townhead, G4 0RX on Friday 20th September at 10am and thereafter to Glasgow Crematorium, Maryhill, G23 5AA at 11.15am, to which family and friends are respectfully invited. There will be a viewing at the Co-operative Funeral Parlour, Springburn Way, Glasgow, G21 1SF, between 2pm and 4pm on Thursday 19th September. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly request donations be made to the Beatson or Dementia Scotland. There will be a collection box at the crematorium for those who wish to donate. John will be very sadly missed by all.

Sorry to hear of your loss Sadie . We were great pals as boys. Played football together with ,, I’m sure you’ll remember, Mick Miller, Mick Kenny, Brian Conway , Pat Mitchell etc

So sorry to hear of your loss, he was a great buddy of mine
When we ran about the Toonheid as kids and teenagers . I met him a few times in The Iron Horse pub
