BROTHERS of three of Kriss Donald's killers have been jailed for a total of 11 years over a violent feud with a rival gang.
The High Court in Glasgow heard how Ahsan Shahid, 24, and Farooq Mushtaq, 25, - along with 21-year-old Omar Sadiq - took their feud with a South Side gang on to city streets.
They were involved in threats and intimidation that included the use of firearms in Pollokshields last year.
Shahid's elder brothers, Imran and Zeeshan, and Mushtaq's sibling Faisal are serving life for murdering teenager Kriss Donald in 2004. He was stabbed and set on fire.
Temporary judge Sean Murphy, QC, told the younger brothers they have "a history of violent behaviour." and significant criminal records, given their age.
He jailed Shahid for 3 years, Mushtaq for three years and Sadiq for five.
The judge told all three they posed a danger to the public and would be monitored in the community after their release from prison. He ordered Shahid and Mushtaq to be monitored for a year each and Sadiq for two.
There is a history of bad blood between two groups from Glasgow's South Side.
Mushtaq and Sadiq were convicted of pursuing Mohammed Omar Khan and Younis Ishaque in a car in Pollokshaws Road last July 25.
Witnesses said the pair pointed a firearm or similar item at their victims and tried to hit the car they were travelling in.
Six days later, within various streets in Pollokshields, Shahid and Sadiq were convicted of carrying out a similar attack on Mohammed Imran Khan and Adil Farooq.
Sadiq was also convicted of committing a breach of the peace against Mr Ishaque and Mohammed Omar Khan.
He was also guilty of dangerous driving for speeding after Mohammed Yusif Khan and Mohammed Abdul Khan in Cathcart Road on July 31 and disqualified for four years.
