FORMER pupils of Holyrood Secondary who've gone on to achieve great things returned to meet the current crop of ambitious youngsters.
Guests included Willie Haughey, Glasgow business tycoon and chairman of Scottish Enterprise, who gave a keynote speech about ambition and aspirations.
Others invited included comedian Des Clarke; professor David O'Hagan of St Andrew's University; Benny Higgins, recently appointed chairman of Sainsbury's bank and executive director of HBOS, and Glasgow councillor Irene Graham.
Each guest gave a brief account of their achievements and the visit coincided with the unveiling of signed and framed photos of former pupils Jim Kerr and Charlie Burchill of Simple Minds, and Fran Heeley of Travis.
The pictures include a quote from the trio and will be displayed around the school.
