GLASGOW'S own Roller Girls, the Irn Bruisers, are heading for London.
The girls are competing in Europe's first Roller Derby Tournament, Roll Britannia, against teams from places such as Berlin and Stockholm.
The Glasgow Roller Girls are seeded in the top four and expected to do well against their derby competitors in the first round tomorrow.
If victorious, the girls will then play a further two games on Sunday and, hopefully, be crowned the first European Roller Derby Tournament champions.
The event, at Earl's Court in London, is a full contact sport played on roller skates.
