CELTIC are continuing to keep an eye on the transfer window re-opening in January, and have taken former Arsenal and Chelsea full-back Andre Blackman on trial.
The 20-year-old arrived at Lennoxtown this week, and Hoops boss Neil Lennon will take a closer look at him in training after he played in a bounce game against Rangers.
Lennon said: "He was recommended by a friend who runs an Academy for players who are out of contract or with issues in their life.
"He did well in the game and told me it was his first match for a year. He picked up an injury, he's only 20, but I like the cut of him. We'll keep him for a couple of weeks.
"You would like to strengthen the squad when you can. If there is an opportunity there, then I think we could be in a position to do that.
"We are not into November yet, so we will talk about that nearer the time."
Sources at Celtic have denied any interest in Sevilla's on-loan Levante striker Arouna Kone.
