ONE of Glasgow's most famous nightspots could be turn into offices if plans which have been submitted to the local authority are approved.
The move by Carrick Properties will create 3,240 sq m of grade A accommodation spread across four upper floors at 21-41 Queen Street.
The building once housed Archaos nightclub which closed its doors in 2007.
Archaos was one of the city's hottest venues in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Originally owned by Stefan King, its Sky Bar attracted celebrities and players from Celtic and Rangers.
Archaos was even used in 1999 for a recording of Sharleen Spiteri and Texas on BBC show Top Of The Pops.
Set over three floors, the nightclub tried to emulate the clubs of Ibiza, with professional dancers and fire-eaters often appearing, as well as big name DJs.
However, after 12 years of trading, the club lost its glamour, losing out to new venues in Royal Exchange Square and the Merchant City.
