A Glasgow community action group has shared a shocking video on Facebook showing the 'filth and squalor' inside a Govanhill close.
Let's save Govanhill posted a video they recorded from inside a close on Allison Street, where a 70-year-old man is reportedly being 'terrorised'.
In the short clip, vomit can clearly be seen on the floor, graffiti scored on to the walls and mounds of rubbish piled high on the lower ground floor.
A woman's voice describing the scene says: "A 70-year-old man is being terrorised."
As the camera turns a corner, piles of rubbish can clearly be seen before she comments: "Here we are, welcome to the diverse and vibrant Govanhill and if this isn't what you call a ghetto, then I don't know what is."
The video has been viewed more than 25,000 times since it was posted on Tuesday.
